From passion, impotence, commitment, neglect and betrayal is full of love. Each story draws together the sharp mapping lasting or fleeting love affairs that are enveloping the characters in a web of which they feel unable to flee or which are expelled with the coldness of a bullet. Edmundo Paz-Soldan achieved by interfering in the unpredictable dangers of everyday wear love amid accomplices rooms and lights dim. With determination, a tacit moral runs like a ghost tales: a love you sometimes do not mean anything, but we never learn that lesson.

Cochabamba, 1967. He teaches Latin American literature at Cornell University. Author of nine novels include fugitive River (1998), matter of desire (2001), burned Palace (2006) and The living and the dead (2009). He received a Guggenheim Foundation scholarship (2006). Works in the media as The Country and The Third , and magazines Que Pasa (Chile), Vanity Fair (Spain) and Etiqueta Negra (Peru).
